would i need a filter for ghost shrimp?
i have a tank with fish that are much too aggressive for a ghost shrimp. i wanted to get a large apothecary jar to keep 2 of them in. but i was wondering if i needed a filter since they are scavengers. is there any kind of small detrivore i could use as a filter?
Answer:
You COULD go without BUT it would need careful set up as shrimp can be very sensitive to water quality conditions. The only way it would really work is if you followed the Walstad Method:
