I'm interested in creating a custom ceramic plaque, Can anyone tell me what is the process of creating the mold? which companies can help me design the mold and what kind of material the mold needs to be made of in order to create a ceramic plaque? (ceramic, plastic, silicone rubber)

Thanks for the quick reply. I have no experience in working with clay and the reason I’m interested is that I want to commercial manufacture a ceramic plaque with a custom design. I have the design on scratch but I need to find someone who would transfer it to mold and then a manufacture to produce the plaques. Do you have any suggestions how to do it?

do you have experience in working with clay, can you fire it in your kiln? Why do you want to make a mold?
Generally it would be easier if you just make the plaque you want out of clay, then fire and glaze it. In many towns there are ceramic studios which will fire clay for you for some fee if you don't have your own kiln.
Generally you make a mold if you need many plaques.The best mold material for clay is plaster, as the plaster will also speed up the drying of the clay. It's porous enough so water can evaporate.
