Wrap up in warm clothes
Well, it is coming around to that time of the year again when you must exit the house with an assortment of gloves, scarves, hats, jumpers and multiple pairs of socks in order to keep warm. There is not much worse than the cold feel of the nasty winter but there is really not much you can do about it except for trying to wrap up warm and stating indoors. However, if you can prepare yourself in anyways then I would suggest stocking up mens jackets, womens hoodies plus beanies. These clothes are absolutely essential to keep you warm in the cold months.
Yet, the winter so far has not been as cold as I would have anticipated. There have been several days in the week where it has been so warm and full of sunshine which has been really great. Thank global warming for that! It is October now and we have had some cracking weather which has been really nice but I am expecting the weather to get considerably worse over the next few months. Last year was an absolute nightmare but this year I have prepared myself with getting all the latest clothing to keep me warm. The thing is that decent beanies and gloves are so expensive and I can't afford to keep buying all of this equipment each year. The most logical thing to do is to simply buy some excellent quality clothes and garments on year and to try and make them last for as long as possible, that way you will be sure to save lots of money.
They are calling this winter, 'The Big Chill' as they are expecting temperatures to plummet to about -10 degrees in December which is not going to be great to look forward to! So, try and make sure that you wrap yourself up in plenty of warm clothes to keep away from nasty colds!

Frequently Asked Questions...
short physics question?
A tetherball is attached to a pole with a 2.0m rope. It is circling at 0.2rev/s. As the rope wraps around the pole it shortens. How lonng is the rope when the ball is moving at 5m/s?
Answer:
I believe the problem means how far from the pole is the ball when it travels with the second given speed.
So assuming the ball is horizontal
then we have conservation of angular momentum L
Since L = I*ω we have initially I = m*2^2 and finally I = m*x^2 where x is the length of rope from the pole
now ω final = 5.0m/s/x
so m*2^2*0.2*(2π) = m*x^2*5.0/x
or 5.027 = 5.0x
or x = 5.017/5 = 1.0m
