Selling prints at an exhibition?
I have an opportunity to display my photography during a fairly big art event that is coming up very soon. The gallery owner suggested I have smaller, unframed prints to sell as well as the ones that will be on the wall (these are 10 x 10 mounted on 1.5 in thick board). I would like to do this, as these will probably be more likely to sell, but how big should I make them? The originals are already pretty small. Please advise! Thank you!
Answer:
do various sizes of each... depending on how many you are displaying...
try some 5"x5" and some 4"x4" (considering they are square)
have a few already framed, in something simple (and add 20% to the framed price)...
